Acupuncture helps Headaches

An article in this week's British Journal of Medicine (1st May 10) has stated that acupuncture can help with prevention of migraine headaches. A Cochrane systematic review has found that patients can cut down the amount of pain killers they need to treat their migraine headaches when they have used acupuncture and medication to prevent migraines. Some of the data in this review was from two randomised controlled trials ie. good quality information.

Call us at Chester Acupuncture Clinic in Cheshire if you suffer from migraines and would like to see if acupuncture can help you.
